Wisconsin Seed Potato Certification Tissue Culture and Diagnostic Lab
The Wisconsin Seed Potato Certification Program (WSPCP) provides several services to the UW community, Wisconsin Seed Potato growers, Wisconsin Seed Potato industry, and domestic and international potato stakeholders. WSPCP provides micro-propagation and diagnostic services, as well as, educational tours and training opportunities.
The WSPCP is a trusted domestic and international partner that maintains clean facilities and strict protocols for its tissue culture, plant material diagnostics, and minituber production. The WSPCP provides clean tissue culture plantlets for research, education, and production. Additional agricultural services include potato tuber and plantlet disease eradication, material storage, and potato diagnostic services.
The WSPCP values education and collaboration to improve UW research opportunities, CALS Global initiatives, seed potato health and research. We're always seeking ways to connect with other programs and research entities to collaborate on projects or share information about our program techniques and services.
